In depth

Verdict

Common knowledge that Kevin Ryan introduces some of his best juveniles here, so Battyeford Boy and Gis A Sub are taken seriously. The latter is preferred. However, we'll stick with experience and take BOSH to go one better from his likeable Salisbury debut when only beaten under a length by a previous winner. He'll come on for the run and receives the vote over Claim The Stars, who looked a surefire improver last time and rates a key threat. Bond Power and the Fahey newcomer, Grifter, are also of interest.
