      Verdict

      Another small field for a big prize. Mick Easterby regularly sends out winners here and he was in fine form last weeked and he is represented by the formerly high-class Dancing Phantom. Rajam ran a stinker on his racecourse reappearance but he probably blew up on that day after a nine month absence and the market is best watched here. Colorado Falls is likely to be popular after a recent win but that was down to a canny ride in lesser grade. Bourgeois put up his best performance for a long time at Newmarket . His stable are in form and any further rain must give him a reasonable shout today.
