        Cornelius Goes well in these testing conditions and faced stiff task latest behind Slickly; sure to give a good account at this level despite topweight.

        Free Rider Not easy to win with but came good at Newmarket last week (carries 3lb penalty); testing ground a concern.

        Duke of Modena Smart performer at his best (won valuable 7f handicap at Ascot Festival in 2000) and was close third behind Tough Speed in August; below par effort latest and something to prove here.

        Lots of Love (USA) In excellent heart of late after wins at Haydock (both 7f, heavy); 5lb higher here but is progressive and may still be vahead of the assessor.

        Dayglow Dancer Has been struggling since landing soft ground conditions event at Doncaster in March; others preferred.

        Ice Has won five times here for Mark Johnston (hurdles winner for new yard) and Fallon booked; place claims if at his best.

        Nashaab (USA) Now a hefty 10lb higher than when winning Chester 7f handicap in August; weighted to the hilt.

        Mornings Minion Dual handicap winner in August and not disgraced off current mark at Ascot latest (7f, soft); has solid each way claims.

        Bold King Useful handicapper on his day but well below his best of late and races from 5lb out of handicap.

        Sir Ninja (IRE) Has been struggling in recent outings and will find this tough from 6lb out of the weights.

        Valeureux Very lightly raced and clearly not easy to keep sound; handles the ground and goes well fresh but may find this company too strong.
