Verdict

ROSE STREET looks sure to be in the shake-up on her seasonal reappearance whilst Red Jade and Meethaaq should also be to the fore. This has been a good race for fancied horses over the years and it has also been kind to Saeed Bin Suroor of late as he has landed the last two renewals which brings Moonquake into the equation. Rose Street's style of running should suit this track and you'd have to be hopeful that there's more to come from this mare who has had just five career starts. She's been raised by 3lbs for finishing seven lengths behind Presvis at Newbury but that form doesn't look too bad now and she's sure to be primed for a big run. Lightly raced Freemason Lodge runners always have to be feared and Meethaaq is no exception despite being less than impressive when landing the odds in a Leicester maiden. The bare form is nothing to get excited about but he may well return an improved performer. Stone Of Scone went into many a notebook following his seasonal return but there was also plenty to like about the performance of the runner-up, Red Jade, who is a couple of pounds better off for a neck. Checklow should benefit from this step back up in trip and has plenty of ability as does King O'The Gypsies who is well worth monitoring on debut for a new yard. Red Kestrel is another unexposed runner to have changed stables over the winter whilst Slam hails from a yard enjoying a fantastic season and should get the run of the race. More experienced runners like Bencoolen and Albaqaa can't be ignored but Rose Street brings solid claims to the table.
