        Verdict

        A wide open contest on paper in which the betting will be very informative. Dark Champion ran well on his debut and should come on for that run and he could go close at a fair price. Horizon Hill has showed promise on his two runs this season and the stable has had a couple of two year old winners of late so they should know where they stand. Of the others the market may prove the best guide.
