In depth

Verdict

John Kirkup and Jedi Master bid for hat-tricks but have been winning with some cut in the ground. Both also make their handicap debuts today as does Ripon winner Mr Wagyu. But JIM ROCKFORD showed improved form on his first start handicapping when beaten only a neck at Haydock last week. Ralph Beckett’s charge should go close with any further progress and gets the nod. The rest look up against it with The Right Choice perhaps the most likely to improve for the Fahey yard.
