Verdict
The Tin Man is top rated here but has a penalty for his victory in the Group 1 British Champions Sprint Stakes at Ascot where he had rank outsider Growl and Ayr Gold Cup winner BRANDO around a length behind in the places. All three are capable of running to that level again and it's only the fact that the latter has had a run this season that could give him the edge. Magical Memory won this narrowly from Suedois last year but had already had a previous run and his form tailed off later in the campaign. The runner-up competed exclusively at Group 1 level subsequently and was never beaten far though he'd also come here with a prep run behind him a year ago.
