Golden Horn won this in 2015 before heading for glory at Epsom and beyond. His trainer runs CRACKSMAN here and though the son of Frankel didn't impress everyone in the Derby Trial at Epsom where he won by a short-head from the race-fit Permian after meeting trouble in-running, he will have come on a bundle for the experience. The runner-up has since won a Listed race easily at Newmarket so the form looks solid. Crystal Ocean was sent to Nottingham to lose his maiden tag which he did with ease and the Sea The Stars colt has the pedigree of a top-class performer so there should be much more to come. Exemplar won a Galway maiden before finding heavy going against him in the Group 2 Beresford at the Curragh won by stable companion Capri from another Ballydoyle inmate Yucatan. Rekindling, who was with David Wachman last year, gained a surprise victory in the Ballysax at Leopardstown where Yucatan was third so that points to his chances while Forest Ranger looked one to follow when landing a lucrative event at Newcastle from Syphax.
