    Verdict

Both Best Terms and Angels Will Fall bring unbeaten records into this Group 2 contest, the former beating Shumoos, Caledonia Lady and Fire Lily in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot and the latter landing the Princess Margaret at Ascot last month. Fire Lily has since accounted for After in a Group 3 at the Curragh and has nothing to fear from Aidan O'Brien's charge on that form, while Shumoos was placed again in her latest start in the Cherry Hinton at Newmarket but she looks to have little chance of reversing that form with impressive winner GAMILATI. It took a while for the penny to drop with Godolphin's daughter of Bernadini but she had plenty in hand at HQ and her earlier second to Discourse has also worked out well. She can defy her penalty.
