    Verdict

Richard Hannon saddles the top two in the weights and the fact that Richard Hughes chooses CRIUS over Wolfgang speaks volumes as he has yet to partner the dual winner but rode the latter to victory at Chepstow in May. Crius has come with a late challenge to win both races over 7f and with this extra furlong certain to suit he looks the one to beat. Paul Hanagan ensured Holy Roman Warrior had a test of stamina when making most over 7f on softish ground here last month. Richard Fahey's charge looks reasonably treated and looks better than stablemate Ventura Spirit. Self Centred would be the form pick at the weights on her third to Maybe in the Chesham but she's disappointed twice subsequently. Kieran Fallon and Mick Easterby are a winning combination so the fact that the former champion is on board Risky Art is intriguing as the filly, a debut winner at Carlisle in May, has never raced beyond the minimum trip.
