Verdict
Top weight Aquarius looks to have plenty on, while course and distance winner Johannian, also looks to be in the grip of the Handicapper at present. Kirovski is a progressive individual, but he will have to turn in a lifetime best if he is to win off this mark. Leadership, just behind Kirovski in the John Smith's Cup here last month, must have every chance of gaining revenge on these terms. Royal Hunt Cup winner Norton has yet to convince over this trip, but he comes here in good form and cannot be left out of calculations, while Donna's Double, who rattled off a three timer in June, still appears in good form . However, the vote goes to the improving three-year-old Imbibing, who still looks well treated under his penalty.
