In depth

Verdict

WALBANK showed signs of inexperience at Ascot and should go one better here if Silvestre De Sousa can keep him on the straight and narrow. Beautiful Sunrise’s Newmarket conqueror Miami Girl was sent off favourite for a Listed race here next time but never looked like winning. Minnesota Lad and Professor Pesca may require significant improvement to play a part.
