Verdict
A three-year-old has won five of the last six runnings of this and Vesela and Sea Empress look the pick of that age group today but they are probably playing for places if ALPINE STAR is fully wound up. Jessica Harrington’s four-year-old won the Coronation Stakes last season and this is a massive drop in class. A La Voile has won three times in this grade and been beaten each time but Fooraat wasn’t disgraced in the Group 2 Duke Of Cambridge at Ascot an also has race-fitness on her side.
