        Verdict

        Gibside is preferred to Dark Jedi of the two Tim Easterby runners. Two Brothers has won twice this year but has been a shade disappointing since scoring at Carlisle in June. Lexington Knight is seeking a fourth victory of the campaign while Sweet Fantasy has won on soft going at Leicester and Epsom recently. Having made most of the running, FRENCH INVASION didn’t quite last home over 1m6f at Haydock. Still lightly raced, the Johnston three-year-old was second over this trip at Newmarket previously and looks to be back to his best. Rathgar has his sights lowered but Harappan heads in the opposite direction having landed novice events at Wolverhampton and Catterick.
