    Verdict

Innocently saw off his rivals in style at Catterick and with the handicapper likely to take a dim view of that performance, it is no surprise to see David O'Meara turn him out quickly under a penalty. LEXINGTON ABBEY has looked a class act in the past and having won recently at Nottingham, Kevin Ryan can successfully negate the predictable rise in the weights with a useful 5lb claimer aboard. Canyari was tried in the July Stakes as a juvenile but has yet to figure this year dropped in class. My Dandy Man appears to appreciate fast ground and though Ron Harris' gelding has to reverse form with the selection, he should have first use of the rail. Dutch Breeze came up against a smart sort at Thirsk last time and is much better than that bare line of form suggests.
