In depth

Verdict

Custom Cut is a tremendous servant to the O'Meara team and should go well but there is a major question mark against him as he tackles this trip for the first team. Stamina issues can also be raised against Tullius and Top Notch Tonto, both of who's chances would also be advanced by significant rainfall. Tha'ir and Bragging have claims at their best but PRINCE GIBRALTAR looks the safest option. An established Group performer, he finished a highly creditable seventh to Treve in the 2014 Arc and the French raider was beaten less than a length in Group 2 company when last seen at Chantilly on the last day of May. Crucially, he is not ground dependent either.
