Verdict
Dancing Vega started favourite for the Fred Darling on her only run last year and could still be anything. She might be thrown in on her handicap debut but has a long absence to overcome. Alemaratalyoum has run well the last twice but is still 4lb higher than last year’s victory at Goodwood. Three Saints Bay is usually a strong traveller but Danny Tudhope prefers FIRMAMENT and the eight-year-old has been threatening to halt his losing streak for a while off this sort of mark. Danielsflyer is preferred to course specialist Get Knotted on this occasion while veteran Sir Maximilian won over this trip at Chester last year but is probably better at sprint distances. Substantial rain would bring Presidential into the equation but Finoah may need this.
