In depth

Verdict

Where's Jeff was just denied in his hat-trick bid at Hamilton eight days ago and is in cracking form. Joanna Mason will give him a good ride and Mick Easterby also runs Kannapolis with Serena Brotherton on board last month’s Beverley winner. Tim Easterby’s Poet's Dawn could be interesting eased in grade while Humbolt Current has won both starts since being gelded and Georgia Cox’s claim halves his penalty. Data Protection bolted up over this trip at Epsom last week but steps up a couple of grades for this, as does recent Brighton scorer Straight Ash. INTERNATIONAL MAN could represent a bit of value if Megan Nicholls can get him settled. His best form has come over 7f but he likes it here and has dropped to a fair mark.
