Verdict
Hartswood followed up a win at Thirsk in May with a close-up fourth at Pontefract but we’ll stick with CLEAR ANGEL, who beat subsequent winner Strongbowe at Carlisle last month and is a pound better off with his old rival. The latter’s yard also run Golden Melody, who has been knocking on the door, while last week’s Haydock winner Tele Red also has claims. Dungar Glory has been beaten twice off this mark since completing a double at Leicester but is still preferred to Ey Up Its The Boss and the now-blinkered Phantasy Mac.
