Bulls v Warriors: Teams

Stuart Fielden returns for Wigan Warriors as the defending Super League champions make the trip to Odsal to face Bradford on Sunday.

The England prop missed his side's opening-day draw against St Helens in Cardiff last weekend, but he returns from injury to take his place in the line-up.

Fielden's timing is excellent as he can now step in for New Zealand international Jeff Lima, who was handed a two-game ban for dangerous tackles made during the game against Saints.

Amos Roberts also returns after missing last week's opening game through the birth of his baby and will be vying with Josh Charnley for a wing spot.

"We're going to have to make sure we turn up," said coach Michael Maguire. "Bradford have improved and we've got to do the same. We've got to make sure it's a full 80-minute performance."

Gaps

Bradford will be without half-back Kyle Briggs and loose forward Jamie Langley, who are both facing a lay-off of between four and six weeks after picking up injuries in the defeat by Leeds.

Paul Sykes, Danny Addy and Tom Olbison are vying to plug the gaps while former Wigan winger Shaun Ainscough will be hoping to make his Bulls debut.

Scrum-half signing Marc Herbert has still not recovered from the hamstring strain that kept him out of the opening game.

Coach Mick Potter has been working on the Bulls' defence as they bid to keep the champions at bay.

"When they get good ball they are certainly very difficult to stop," he said. "In attack they are very flamboyant and they really get their noses down quick and dive to the ground quite often to try and win the ruck.

"So we have to make sure we have a good tackle technique to kill and we have been working on that this week."
