Castleford could hand home debuts to loan signings Ben Davies and Rob Parker in Sunday's Yorkshire derby with Bradford.
The Tigers have major problems in their pack, with Craig Huby and Jon Walker both long-term absentees with serious injuries.
On top of that, front rowers Jake Emmitt and Nick Fozzard are also now sidelined after being hurt in the midweek defeat at Wigan.
Parker played in the 26-16 defeat at the DW Stadium on Wednesday having joined the club on loan from Super League rivals Salford City Reds.
Now Cas coach Terry Matterson has bolstered his squad further with the temporary addition of prop Davies, who has arrived from the Warriors for a month.
The Tigers do hope, however, to have Richard Mathers, Ryan Hudson, Kirk Dixon, Jordan Thompson and Paul Jackson back after missing that re-arranged fixture against the reigning champions.
The hosts will be looking to end a three-game losing skid - they were beaten 48-18 to Warrington last time out at the PROBIZ Coliseum.
Bradford, meanwhile, have been boosted by the availability of Jamie Langley.
The forward was forced off during the win over Leeds on June 24 and subsequently missed last week's 34-28 loss at the hands of Catalan Dragons.
John Bateman is also drafted into the 19-man squad by Bulls coach Mick Potter, Jason Crookes and Michael Platt the two men to make way.
The decision to drop the duo means Shad Royston and Paul Sykes are set for recalls in a much-changed three-quarters.
