Castleford Tigers have six new signings among their squad for the engage Super League season opener against Wakefield Wildcats at the Millennium Stadium.
Richard Mathers, Nick Youngquest, Jacob Emmitt, Willie Isa and Nick Fozzard are all set to make their competitive debuts, while newly-appointed captain Danny Orr starts his second spell with the club.
There is also a youthful flavour to Tigers coach Terry Matterson's 19-man selection with the inclusion of four academy graduates - Joe Arundel, Oliver Holmes, Adam Milner and Jonathan Walker.
Martin Aspinwall, a close-season recruit from Wigan, and promising centre Jordan Thompson have been overlooked, while Ryan McGoldrick (knee) and Richard Owen (leg) are sidelined by injury.
The Wildcats, meanwhile, are looking to rise above the off-field turmoil that has engulfed the club.
Wakefield are currently in administration and the subject of a transfer embargo, having also seen their plans for a new stadium suffer a further planning delay.
A player exodus at the end of last season has left coach John Kear in charge of an inexperienced squad this time round.
There could be as many as seven players making their first Super League appearance for the club on Saturday.
Chris Dean, Stuart Howarth, Paul Johnson, Tommy Lee, Frankie Mariano and Josh Vievers are among the new recruits and academy graduate Russ Spiers is also given a chance.
Playmaker Ben Jeffries and veteran full-back Motu Tony are ruled out by injury, while Kiwi half-back Jeremy Smith has yet to receive his work permit after signing from Salford.
