Salford winger Jodie Broughton scored all four of his side's tries in their 22-10 victory over Catalan Dragons at Stade Gilbert Brutus.
The former Leeds winger crossed twice in each half as the Reds made it back-to-back wins under the guidance of acting head coach Steve Simms.
The stand-in boss, who has taken over whilst Shaun McRae recovers from an illness, saw his side hand the Dragons a fifth loss in 2011.
His decision to select stand-off Stefan Ratchford in the centres proved a masterstroke as the Reds made a fast start on French soil.
Ratchford produced the final passes to set up Broughton's opening two tries, the quick-fire brace helping the visitors storm into a 10-0 lead in Perpignan after just 13 minutes.
No threat
It took the hosts, who were not helped by the late withdrawal of playmaker Scott Dureau, until the 27th minute to pose any threat as an attacking force.
Ian Henderson, Steve Menzies, Clint Greenshields and Michael Simon were all involved in the build up to a move that ended up with Darryl Millard playing in Cyril Stacul.
Broughton calmed hopes of a French fightback just after the break, though, as he produced a mazy run that bamboozled the Dragons.
Catalan gave themselves a glimmer of hope when Sebastien Raguin crossed after the hour mark, Tony Gigot adding the extras to make it 10-16.
However, having completed his hat-trick, Broughton hit Catalan for four when he accepted Daniel Holdsworth's reverse pass to break free.
He just about had enough in the tank to stay clear of the chasing Greenshields and Damien Blanch, with Holdsworth adding the conversion to seal the win.
