Celtic starlet Steven Tyrer is set to face St Helens for the first time since leaving Knowsley Road on Saturday.
The 19-year-old Saints academy graduate made the switch to Bridgend in the off-season after failing to pin down a regular starting spot under then coach Daniel Anderson.
Tyrer comes into the Crusaders squad alongside fellow new signing Lincoln Withers and Mark Lennon with the club still looking for a first win in the top flight.
The newly-promoted National League side went down to Leeds Rhinos and Salford City Reds in the opening weeks of competiton, but gave a good account of themselves at home last time out.
More than 5,000 fans turned out to offer their support as the Welsh side lost the first ever Super League match at Brewery Field 28-20 to Hull FC.
Captain Jace van Dijk is out, though, after struggling with a neck injury in recent weeks and the scrum-half joins Luke Dyer and Neil Budworth on the sidelines.
Boost
Jason Cayless and Leon Pryce are back for St Helens after missing the shock defeat to Hull KR last time out, meanwhile.
That one-point reversal marked the first setback for coach Mick Potter this season following opening round victories over Huddersfield and Warrington.
And Potter will be keen to ensure that was just a blip as he welcomes Jamie Foster into a squad looking to get back on track.
Loose forward Chris Flannery is still out with an elbow injury, while Kyle Eastmond, Gareth Frodsham and Gary Wheeler all drop out of the travelling party.
Celtic squad: Duggan, Lennon, Tyrer, Hannay, Dalle Cort, Blackwood, Quinn, Smith, O'Hara, J. James, Withers, Bryant, Peek, Beasley, Mapp, Chalk, Lupton, Flower, Chan.
St Helens squad: Wellens, Gardner, Gidley, Pryce, Long, Cayless, Cunningham, Graham, Gilmour, Wilkin, Roby, Hargreaves, Puletua, Clough, Fa'asavalu, Dixon, Foster, Ashurst, Armstrong.
