Huddersfield welcome back prop Keith Mason for their final match of the regular season against Leeds on Sunday.
Mason has not played since damaging knee ligaments in July but is now set to end his spell on the sidelines after being named in Nathan Brown's 19-man squad.
Brown has also called up former Wigan Warriors academy forward Matthew Sarsfield, who will make his Engage Super League debut if he is included in the match-day selection.
The Giants are already assured a place in the top four ahead of the play-offs but full-back Scott Grix thinks it is important that his side head into the play-offs in good form.
"I'm sure it will be a really big atmosphere; the last time we played them we got a big win at Headingley in what was obviously a big milestone win for the club," he told the club's official website.
"They are playing the best rugby I have seen them play for a while and they are in exactly the same spot as we are - they want to hit the playoffs with a bit of form under their belt.
"It will be a tight game but that will put us in the right frame of mind for the big games ahead.
Leeds are boosted by the return of full-back Brent Webb, scrum-half Rob Burrow and loose forward Chris Clarkson, who are all set to come back from injury.
However, centre Kallum Watkins remains on the sidelines after missing out on the 64-20 victory over Wakefield last weekend, while prop Kylie Leuluai is set to make his 150th appearance for the Rhinos.
Leeds already know that they will be entered into the elimination contests in the first week of the play-offs, and there is still a chance they could lose home advantage if they lose and other results go against them.
