Huddersfield welcome back Eorl Crabtree for the visit of Harlequins to the Galpharm Stadium on Sunday.
The England prop has endured an injury-hit start to the campaign but is now fully fit and is expected to play a part from the bench this weekend.
Also returning from injury is second-rower Simon Finnigan who has been laid low with knee ligament damage.
Both men have been named in Giants 19-man squad for the clash with Quins and Huddersfield coach Nathan Brown is delighted to welcome the duo back as his side go in search of a first home win of the campaign.
"They are two top players and will add a great deal to the side," Brown stated.
"Eorl was probably our best player in pre-season games and can obviously play a big part in our team. He'll give us a good lift off the bench, there's no doubt about that.
"Simon's also a quality performer. He's a good hard worker who is prepared to do things for the team, and that's the sort of individual you want."
Brown is hoping his troops can build on last weekend's dramatic victory over Castleford, but is wary of the threat posed by in-form Quins.
"It would be nice to win two rounds in a row and obviously we want to get our first win at home for the year," he added.
"Quins are a handy team. To have scored over 100 points to 24 against in the last two weeks is pretty impressive to say the least. Brian (McDermott) was a pretty tough player himself, and he seems to have instilled that mentality into his squad."
Forwards Andy Raleigh (finger) and hooker David Faiumu (leg) are still unavailable but could be back for next Friday's trip to Wigan.
Two changes for Quins
Quins chief Brian McDermott has made only two changes to the 19-man squad that handed out a 60-8 thrashing to Warrington Wolves last weekend.
Skipper Rob Purdham is back in the fold having sat out the last two games with an ankle injury.
Meanwhile, former Salford City Red, Matt Gardner, is handed a first call-up having recently impressed in the reserves recently.
Ahead of the match, McDermott said: "We're expecting a tough game against a very well-coached, very well-drilled and very well-disciplined team.
"It'll be a big test for us against a team that, like ourselves, are playing well and have shown good form."
