Leeds hope to have full-back Brent Webb available for the visit of Huddersfield in Friday's West Yorkshire derby.
Webb sat out Rhinos' 46-6 defeat to St Helens last week through illness but could return for the Headingley Carnegie clash.
Stand-off Stevie Ward keeps his place in the continued absence of Danny McGuire after making his debut against Saints.
Huddersfield head coach Nathan Brown welcomes back second-row forward Luke O'Donnell after a seven month injury lay-off, while hooker Luke Robinson and utility player Lee Gilmour return to the fray.
Skipper Kevin Brown is out with a recurrence of an ankle problem but second rower Jonny Molloy makes the 19-man squad for the first time this year.
The Giants lost top spot after going down to Hull KR last time out but Brown remains upbeat.
"It wasn't a slip-up," he said. "Hull KR are a dangerous team and, if they play well and you only play okay or your effort isn't quite where it needs to be, then they will beat you.
"We got beat by a good team."
