Leeds forwards Jamie Peacock and Ali Lauitiiti are both in line to return from injury for Saturday's Carnegie Challenge Cup clash with Wigan.
England captain Peacock was initially ruled out for between four and six weeks with a knee injury sustained against Warrington.
But the former Bradford Bull has made a quicker-than-expected recovery and is on course to make his comeback in the quarter-final tie.
Meanwhile, fellow forward Lauitiiti has also been included in coach Brian McClennan's squad having missed the last two matches with a torn calf muscle.
But full-back Brent Webb is missing as he completes his two-game suspension.
Scrum-half Rob Burrow is also absent with a knee problem, while prop Luke Burgess has joined him on the sidelines after picking up an injury in Sunday's 26-12 Super League win over Bradford.
Wigan boost
Wigan have received an injury boost with utility back Amos Roberts in line to play for the first time since Easter Monday.
The Australian, who has been used on the wing and at full-back, had scored 12 tries in 10 matches before damaging his posterior cruciate knee ligament.
He is joined in coach Michael Maguire's 19-man party by prop Paul Prescott, who has recovered from a hip injury.
Second rower Chris Tuson is also in the frame to feature, having returned to the DW Stadium following a loan spell with Castleford.
