Leigh Centurions v Bradford Bulls: Super 8s Qualifiers preview
Last Updated: 19/09/15 8:44pm
Emotions could be running high at the Leigh Sports Village on Saturday for the crucial clash between the Centurions and Bradford.
Leigh football director Derek Beaumont, who was fined by the Rugby Football League for his behaviour during his club's season-opening win over Bradford, is risking further sanctions by refusing entry to Bulls chairman Marc Green.
"Our chairman Mike Norris has already written to Bradford and told them there will be no access for Marc Green at our ground," Beaumont told the Manchester Evening News.
"We have our reasons for doing what we have done and stand by them.
"This is one occasion when it is possibly good that the game is on TV because it is the only way Marc Green will be able to follow the live action."
Both teams enter Saturday's game on the back of defeats. Bradford copped a 48-4 hiding at Hull KR last weekend while Leigh crashed to a surprise 34-12 loss against Halifax.
Leigh have recalled Gareth Haggerty to their 19-man squad while Adam Higson has shaken off an injury suffered against Halifax. Paul Rowley's men need a win to keep alive their slim hopes of a top-five finish.
Bradford are still without the injured Lee Gaskell but Jake Mullaney is expected to return.
