Super League's reigning Man of Steel Brett Hodgson is set to return for Huddersfield when they visit the Twickenham Stoop to play Harlequins on Saturday.
The Giants captain damaged ankle ligaments in his side's 14-10 home defeat by Warrington less than three weeks ago and was expected to be out for at least a month.
However, the goalkicking full-back has responded well to treatment and has therefore been named in coach Nathan Brown's 19-man squad.
Meanwhile, Quins coach Brian McDermott has also named his squad, with Luke May in for Karl Temata (hamstring).
Lamont Bryan is also set to appear at the Stoop for the second time this season after scoring a try in his side's 26-22 defeat to Salford last weekend.
Although Harlequins currently languish at the foot of the Super League table, the 21-year-old centre said he and his team-mates were confident of a return to winning ways.
"It's a long season and we're only six weeks in. We were all disappointed by last weekend's result but what matters most is how we react to it. This week we've been working on our reaction to adversity and keeping a positive attitude," Bryan said.
"I'm really pleased to have played last weekend. I will keep doing my job and working hard in the hope I can hold onto my place."
Harlequins 19-man squad: Bibb, Bolger, Bryan, Clubb, Golden, Howell, Jones-Bishop, May, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Melling, O'Callaghan, Orr, Randall, Sharp, Smith, Ward, Wilkes, Williams, Williamson.
Huddersfield 19-man squad: B Hodgson, Cudjoe, Lolesi, D Hodgson, Brown, Robinson, Crabtree, Lunt, Gilmour, Fa'alogo, Wild, Raleigh, Griffin, Faiumu, Grix, Aspinwall, Patrick, Walker, Horne.
