Matt King could make his return from injury when Warrington make the short trip to Salford on Good Friday.
Australian King was stretchered off with a serious knee injury during the opening game of the new Super League season against Huddersfield.
The former Kangaroos international required surgery on the problem and missed the opening 10 rounds of the 2011 campaign.
However, he has now been passed fit to make his first-team comeback and replaces the rested Joel Monaghan in the Wolves' 19-man squad.
Lee Briers, who has missed the last two games due to a leg injury, is also selected by coach Tony Smith, though he may not be risked against the Reds.
Loan deals
Meanwhile, Warrington announced on Wednesday that they have allowed Lee Mitchell and Rhys Evans to join Harlequins and Leigh respectively on loan.
Youth team members Brooke Broughton (Dewsbury), Mike Stewart (Rochdale) and Chris Fleming (Whitehaven) have also been allowed to leave the Halliwell Jones Stadium on dual registration deals.
Salford welcome the Wolves to the Willows having thrashed Bradford on home soil last time out in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Caretaker coach Phil Veivers is likely to keep faith with the side that did so well against the Bulls, with forwards Jack Spencer and Adam Neal again unlikely to make the final 17.
Prop Rob Parker and utility back Sean Gleeson remain sidelined.
Vinnie Anderson is, however, included in the Reds' 19-man squad, meaning the ex-Warrington player could come up against his younger brother Louie. The pair previously turned out alongside each other at the Wolves.
