Castleford coach Terry Matterson has called on home-grown talent for the trip to St Helens with centre Michael Shenton and loose forward Joe Westerman on England duty.
Utility back Jordan Thompson has been included for the first time at the age of 17 and will be joined in the initial squad by 21-year-old prop forward Ryan Boyle, who has already made seven appearances this year.
Saints, who are without England pair James Graham and James Roby, have called up youngsters Chris Dean and Jacob Emmitt.
Jonny Lomax continues to deputise for injured winger Ade Gardner.
