St Helens welcome back Scott Moore for Friday's engage Super League fixture against Wakefield Wildcats at he Stobart Stadium.
Moore has recovered from a calf strain to take his place in coach Royce Simmons' initial 19-man squad as Saints chase a fifth straight victory.
Tom Armstrong, dual registered with Leigh, also gets the nod but Josh Perry is sidelined by a groin injury and Paul Clough is not yet ready to return from the shoulder problem that has kept him out for almost a month.
Francis Meli and Leon Pryce also remain on the injured list and Kyle Eastmond cannot force his way back into the side.
Wakefield, who come into the match on a high after crushing Harlequins 52-32 last time out, must do without club captain Glenn Morrison due to a dead leg sustained in training.
Michael Korkidas and Aaron Murphy are also both ruled out for the second week in a row, but Kevin Henderson is fit after a lay-off.
Paul King has been named in coach John Kear's initial 19-man cut but will undergo a fitness test on Friday morning.
Julien Rinaldi will lead the side in Morrison's absence.
"Julien has demonstrated great leadership qualities without having the title of captain and now he will have that title," said Kear.
Workaholic
"We'll get Kevin Henderson back and he's also a workaholic. We've plenty of guys who are not frightened of work so we'll have to make sure they share the 30-odd tackles and 16 or 17 carries that Glenn does every week."
Kear added: "St Helens have changed their style of play from the start of the season.
"They are taking full advantage of the quicker play-the-balls and are very effective.
"They've hit some form and looked very good last week.
"We've been pretty consistent in our last four outings but we need to continue to improve and we will get there."
