Warrington and Harlequins will now be playing for nothing but pride on Sunday when they clash at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Both teams go into the final fixture of the regular season off the back of disappointing defeats and with their play-off chances already dashed.
Catalans Dragons' shock success over St Helens on Friday night means the French side have claimed eighth spot in the table.
For the Wolves the fixture will be their first in front of their own fans since they lifted the Challenge Cup at Wembley.
The players will parade the trophy around the ground after the final hooter, though coach Tony Smith wants them to focus on the game first.
Harlequins won the reverse fixture 60-8 at the Twickenham Stoop earlier in the year and the Wolves boss expects another tough afternoon.
Respect
"We are looking forward to another tough fixture," he said on the club's website. "They got the edge on us early on in the season and showed what a very good team they can be.
"We will treat them with the respect they deserve and are very keen to come back home for the first time since the Wembley success and we want to celebrate with a great performance and a great game of rugby league."
The Wolves have been beset by injury problems since their cup success, with Paul Johnson and Louis Anderson the latest casualties.
Chris Hicks, Jon Clarke, Simon Grix , Matt King and Paul Wood are also ruled out, while Steve Pickersgill has not been included in the 19-man squad ahead of his likely move to Widnes.
Quins make the trip up north having won just one of their last 11 league outings, a dismal run that has cost them dearly in the battle for the play-offs.
Brian McDermott's side were hammered 48-0 by Castleford on home soil last Sunday, though their last two victories have come on their travels.
Ben Kaye and Rob Purdham are missing from the last 19-man squad - Jamie O'Callaghan and David Williams come in to take their places.
Warrington squad: V. Anderson, Blythe, Bridge, Briers, Carvell, Cooper, Harrison, Higham, Mathers, McCarthy, Mitchell, Monaghan, Morley, Neal, Penny, Rauhihi, Riley, Thompson, Westwood.
Harlequins squad: Bryan, Clubb, Dorn, Esders, Gafa, Gale, Golden, Haggerty, Heckenberg, Mbu, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Melling, O'Callaghan, Orr, Randall, Sharp, Ward, Williams, Williamson.
