Castleford coach Terry Matterson says the Tigers camp is in confident mood ahead of Sunday's elimination Super League play-off against Wigan.
Matterson was able to report a clean bill of health following last weekend's 35-22 victory over the Celtic Crusaders and says they are in a strong position squad-wise ahead of their first play-off appearance in seven years.
With captain Ryan Hudson out for the season with a broken arm, Dean Widders hopes to be back in contention having missed out last time with a slight leg injury.
Matterson told the club's website: "It was mission accomplished at the weekend even though we didn't play to our best, but I'm expecting a much better performance from the guys at Wigan.
"The regular season is behind us now and we see this as the start of a new campaign and we want to make the most of the opportunity that we have earned.
"We are all pretty excited about the opportunity, it's our first play offs for seven years so it's something to look forward to and I hope that we have our usual big following over at the DW Stadium.
"It's a tough game but we will travel confident in our ability to win if we play to our best."
Meanwhile, Wigan coach Brian Noble will want to leave their 48-16 thrashing by Huddersfield last Sunday firmly in the regular season.
His 19-man squad includes Sam Tomkins, who missed the Giant game with an ankle injury but who is now fully fit, and Mark Riddell, who has returned from Australia following a period of compassionate leave.
Wigan squad: Roberts, Carmont, Richards, Leuluai, Fielden, Riddell, Paleaaesina, O'Loughlin, J. Tomkins, Coley, Hansen, McIlorum, Prescott, Pryce, Phelps, Gleeson, Mossop, S. Tomkins, Flanagan.
Castleford squad: Owen, Dixon, Shenton, Evans, Wainwright, Chase, Sherwin, Sargent, Huby, Ferres, Clayton, Westerman, Jones, Higgins, Feather, Boyle, Netherton, McGoldrick, Widders.
