Wigan coach Michael Maguire can welcome back centre George Carmont after he missed the Challenge Cup victory over Bradford.
Carmont had been named in the squad to face the Bulls but had to sit the game out with a calf strain.
However, he should be ready to return alongside Sam Tomkins, who was forced off with concussion at Odsal following the clash that saw Gareth Raynor handed a two game suspension.
Maguire will not be taking anything for granted against Hull KR, whom they beat 28-16 last month at Craven Park.
"It's another tough one," he said. "They have lot of players we need to be aware of.
"We were not at our best at the Bradford game and we need to fix that up. We want to move on from that."
Rovers are expected to name an unchanged line-up from the one that defeated Salford in the Challenge Cup.
Coach Justin Morgan is hoping they can build on a recent run of form that has seen them record emphatic Challenge Cup wins over York and Salford, either side of a big League win over Bradford.
Confidence
"To get through to the quarter-finals of the Cup and the League game against Bradford was a big one as well because we needed to keep pace with the top eight so those games in isolation were very important," he said.
"With three back-to-back wins, it's fair to say our mind is in the right place and our confidence is at the right level without being over-confident.
"We're in a better shape now than we were when we played them at Craven Park not so long ago and, if you look at that game, there were two or three tries that we gave up very easily.
"I'm very confident we won't give up those easy tries this time around so that naturally makes the competition between the two teams a lot closer.
"I think the teams are very closely matched and that was evident last time we played them when it wasn't until the last few minutes that they got the match-winning try. I think it will be a close game."
