Wigan coach Michael Maguire has named winger Shaun Ainscough in his 19-man squad for the visit of Harlequins.
Ainscough has been recalled from a loan spell with Castleford with Darrell Goulding joining Amos Roberts on the sidelines.
Thomas Leuluai and Harrison Hansen remain out while Andy Coley also misses out this week after picking up a niggle following the Cup victory at Sheffield.
Teenage centre Stefan Marsh could make his debut while the uncapped second row Jonny Walker is also included.
Penny picked
Harlequins still have just one league win in 10 to their name but are able welcome back Warrington winger Kevin Penny, who was cup-tied against Wakefield last week.
Prop Ben Jones is also back in the 19-man squad with young Londoners Jamie O'Callaghan and Ben Bolger missing out.
Luke Dorn made his return to action in the Challenge Cup win over the Wildcats and his comeback from a shoulder injury, along with that of skipper Rob Purdham, gives Tony Clubb hope that Quins' fortunes can change.
"We think it's our time now and we have gained a lot of confidence in the past few weeks," the centre said.
"At the beginning of the season we were conceding lots of points and not playing too well. Now we've put in solid performances against Huddersfield and Saints and more importantly beaten Wakefield.
"The return of our captain (Rob Purdham) and Luke Dorn from injury has been a major factor and having so many big, experienced players back in the side can only help us."
