St Helens coach Royce Simmons has included prop James Graham in his 19-man squad for Saturday's Carnegie Challenge Cup semi-final with Wigan.
The England prop is struggling with a neck and back problem and has been closely monitored all week.
Second rower Sia Soliola and centre Francis Meli return from injury while forward Paul Clough is also named after coming through the club's under-20s match against Castleford last weekend.
Wigan coach Michael Maguire recalls second-rower Harrison Hansen, who was rested for last week's win at Hull, and has prop Paul Prescott back from injury as he selects from a near full-strength squad.

The Australian is hoping to reach Wembley in his final season as Wigan coach and told the club's official website: "The rivalry between the towns and the sides is huge and it is a great place to be involved in these games. All the hard work pre-season is paying off and it is now about taking that opportunity in this 80 minutes for the chance to get to Wembley.
"All the boys want to create history for this Club and we know what we need to do."
