A dramatic injury-time try by Adam D'Arcy saw Ulster grab a 27-23 victory over Benetton Treviso in their RaboDirect Pro 12 encounter on Saturday.
Scrum-half Ruan Pienaar kicked the conversion, taking his tally to 12 points, as Ulster came back to snatch a thrilling victory at the Stadio Comunale di Monigo.
Ulster had trailed going into the last 10 minutes, but Paddy Wallace crossed for a try and then D'Arcy went in, with Pienaar converting both, to take the Irish side to just outside the top four.
Treviso's outside-half Kris Burton was also on fine form with the boot, kicking a penalty, two conversions and two drop goals, but ultimately it was not enough.
The home side went ahead after two minutes as hooker Enrico Ceccato touched down and Burton converted to lead 7-0.
Control
But the visitors struck back on 17 minutes when Pienaar kicked a penalty and, five minutes later, went ahead through a Chris Henry try which was converted by Pienaar to make it 10-7.
Burton kicked a drop goal to level things up and Pienaar put Ulster back in front with a penalty before the home side took control.
Burton slotted another three pointer and added a second drop goal before converting Alberto Di Bernardo's try with 12 minutes remaining.
But the visitors were not finished and both Wallace and D'Arcy scored converted tries in the closing minutes to clinch the win.
The victory leaves Brian McLaughlin's side in genuine top-four contention with another Italian side, Aironi, the visitors to Ravenhill on Friday.
