Sale boss Kingsley Jones has opted to rotate his squad for the trip to Welford Road.
With a difficult month of fixtures ahead, Jones has opted to had some of his younger players the chance to shine, while Kristian Ormsby also returns at No.8.
Jones said: " We have come off the back of two great results and a lot of the players need a break, so we are giving some of the squad members a chance.
"We have a tough month ahead and we need all our players to be match fit. I have rested Mark Cueto and Mathew Tait as they were due a break under the EPS regulations, but I'm delighted that Kristian Ormsby returns."
Skipper Moody
Meanwhile, flanker Lewis Moody will lead Leicester on home soil for the first time.
Head coach Richard Cockerill has made three changes from the side that saw off Clermont Auvergne last weekend.
With Martin Castrogiovanni ruled out through injury, the Italian joining Aaron Mauger, Richard Blaze, Geordan Murphy and Julian White on the sidelines, Dan Cole starts at tighthead prop.
Ben Kay is also included in the pack with Louis Deacon give a rest, while Johne Murphy reclaims a place in the backline.
"I thought we played really well last weekend and now we need to take that intensity back into our Guinness Premiership fixtures," said head coach Richard Cockerill.
"Sale have had a couple of wins in Europe and they are playing some good rugby. With 24,000 supporters in the stadium on a holiday afternoon, I'm sure there'll be a cracking atmosphere."
