Australian fly-half Sam Norton-Knight has been dropped to the bench for Cardiff's trip to Munster on Friday.
Norton-Knight struggled to make an impact against Edinburgh on his debut, with the Blues going down to a 22-21 defeat.
As a result, coach Dai Young has called in experienced campaigner Ceri Sweeney to wear the No.10 jersey.
Props Taufa'ao Filise and John Yapp and lock Deiniol Jones also come into the starting XV, while Andy Powell is named on the bench.
Munster have included John Hayes and Alan Quinlan in their side to face Cardiff.
Hayes comes in to replace Tony Buckley after being rested because of his involvement on the Lions tour, while Quinlan's 12-week suspension expires before the game so he takes over from Billy Holland.
Barry Murphy also comes in to the centres but Paul Warwick and Ian Dowling are both ruled out through injury.
