Munster will be without the suspended Sam Tuitupou for the visit of Toulon in the second round of Heineken Cup fixtures.
The New Zealand centre was handed a three-week ban after he was found guilty of illegally tackling Paul Hodgson during the opening defeat to London Irish.
Tuitupou joins fellow suspended centre Lifeimi Mafi on the sidelines, while Felix Jones, Denis Fogarty and Paul O'Connell are all out injured.
On the plus side, Jerry Flannery is fit again and has been included on the bench.
