Sale coach Kingsley Jones has urged his side to finish their Heineken Cup campaign on a high despite having already been knocked out of the competition.
Sale's defeat to defending champions Munster meant they can no longer progress passed the pool stage, however they can still claim second spot by beating Clermont.
Jones said: "We may be out of the competition but we want to finish second in this group.
"Until last week we had conceded nine tries in all our games and then we conceded six at Munster!
"The players are desperate to get back onto the field and get back to winning ways."
Mark Cueto, Luke McAlister and Chris Jones are the only players to retain their place in the starting XV, with Jones opting to switch his side about.
Nick McLeod, Lee Thomas, Mathew Tait, Oriol Ripol and Dwayne Peel coming into the backs, while Andy Sheridan, Sebastien Bruno, Stuart Turner, Carl Fearns, Luke Abraham, David Tait and Brent Cockbain coming into the side.
