Sale have name international duo Ben Cohen and Dwayne Peel in their line-up for the LV= Cup clash with the Dragons.
With Cohen and Peel having been left out of the England and Wales squads for the RBS Six Nations respectively, the pair make their return to action on the tournament.
"We had two excellent performances back in November in the LV= Cup against London Irish and Leeds," said the head coach Pete Anglesea.
"We are now looking to resume where we left off and the next two games in this competition are crucial. If we win them both, we stand a good chance of qualifying for the semi-finals in March."
Former Sale scrum-half Mike Petri will make his debut off the bench for the Dragons.
Petri was initially signed for the Sharks in the summer but he failed to make and impact and left by mutual consent.
Scott Roberts is also set to make his first appearance after joining the region on loan from Bedwas as a replacement for Ben Castle.
The Dragons will also welcome back Martyn Thomas, Joe Bearman and Matthew Watkins after long lay-offs through injury.
