Sale director of rugby Philippe Saint Andre has warned his side not to undo all their hard work by losing to Munster.
The Sharks got their Heineken Cup challenge off to a phenomenal start when they toppled Clermont away, picking up a bonus point in the process.
However with defending champions Munster set to arrive at Edgeley Park, Saint Andre wants his side to build on that win.
"The win against Clermont last week was a massive achievement but is now consigned to the record books," he said.
"If we were to lose this weekend we would undo all the good work of last week. Munster may only just have won last week, but they are a great side and we expect a big performance from them on Sunday. Edgeley Park is sold out and it should be a great occasion for everyone."
The suspension of Kristian Ormsby has forced Saint Andre to shuffle his pack, with Sebastian Chabal moving to the second row, Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe switching to No.8 and Chris Jones coming in on the blindside.
In the backs, Rudi Keil starts after replacing the injured Lee Thomas in the centres against Clermont.
Having come within minutes of defeat against Montauban last week Munster have made several changes this time around.
Peter Stringer has been dropped to the bench, giving Tomas O'Leary a chance at scrum-half. There is also a recall for Paul Warwick at full-back, which sees Keith Earls move to outside centre.
In the pack Justin Melck drops to the bench in place of young John O'Sullivan, as David Wallace shifts over to number eight to make way for the openside flanker.
