Aston Villa centre-back Easah Suliman has joined Grimsby on loan until the end of the season.

Suliman scored in last year's U19 Euros final and was ever-present as he helped England lift the trophy in Georgia last summer.

The highly-rated 19-year-old makes the temporary switch to Blundell Park after League Two Grimsby fought off competition from a number of other clubs to clinch his signature.

Birmingham-born Suliman is a product of Aston Villa's academy and was handed his first-team debut by manager Steve Bruce in an EFL Cup tie against Wigan in August.
