Aston Villa centre-back Easah Suliman has joined Grimsby on loan until the end of the season.
Suliman scored in last year's U19 Euros final and was ever-present as he helped England lift the trophy in Georgia last summer.
The highly-rated 19-year-old makes the temporary switch to Blundell Park after League Two Grimsby fought off competition from a number of other clubs to clinch his signature.
Birmingham-born Suliman is a product of Aston Villa's academy and was handed his first-team debut by manager Steve Bruce in an EFL Cup tie against Wigan in August.
Suliman was named won Young Player of the Year at the Asian Football Awards in 2015 before landing Young Sportsperson of the Year at the 2016 British Ethnic Diversity Sports Awards.
