Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin has passed a medical with Inter Milan and will join the club on a free transfer when his contract at the Wanda Metropolitano expires at the end of the season. (Sky Italy)
Inter hope to convince Cagliari to part with Chelsea target Nicolo Barella, whom they value at £43m, by offering around £26m plus a pair of their most promising young players in part-exchange for the highly-rated midfielder. (Gazzetta dello Sport)

RB Leipzig have offered striker Timo Werner a new contract in an effort to fend off interest from Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid. The 22-year-old forward's current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2020, and the new contract he has been offered includes a £60m release clause applicable to 10 of Europe's biggest club, which could be activated at the end of next season.
