The scout reports...

The Sky Sports Scout again turns his attention to South America and Brazil, with Corinthians striking starlet Dentinho under the spotlight. The 21-year-old is the latest prodigy to emerge from Cortinthians and hopes are again high that he could become a big star. Bruno Ferreira Bonfim - better known as Dentinho - is a Sao Paulo native and is a product of the club's own youth system. After making a big impact at youth level he was handed his first-team debut and he took his chance. In 2008 he finished as top scorer in both sections of the seasonal championship, which led to his first links with European football, but he was quick to shun the interest. The following year he linked up with new Cortinthians signing Ronaldo and helped them to the the Campeonato Paulista for the second successive year. At the end of 2009, Dentinho agreed a new long-term deal with the club, signing a contract until 2013 with a release clause of more than £30million. He began 2010 in fine form and scored his first-ever Copa Libertadores effort, but his goals have dried up this season, although he still played an integral part in their second-place finish in the national championship. This last season has demonstrated that Dentinho is not an all-out striker, but has the ability to play anywhere in the forward department. He is naturally a very good finisher and goal-scoring comes easily to him. But he is more than just a poacher. Outstanding technical ability means he is a huge handful around the penalty box, which makes him a real danger. Like with fellow prospect Neymar, he has signalled his intention to continue his footballing education in Brazil and currently is learning from Ronaldo - who better to learn from than the best striker of his generation?

The scout says...

Strongly linked with most of Europe's elite, but is committed to Corinthians for the foreseeable future as he concentrates on his own game. Is tipped to make the breakthrough into the Brazilian national side in the coming months, and he looks ready to take the step up.
