Worcester have announced that their former New Zealand sevens star Bryce Heem has signed a new contract at Sixways.

Wing Heem, 27, made his debut for the Aviva Premiership club last autumn and previously played for Super Rugby side the Chiefs.

He also won a Commonwealth Games silver medal in 2014 as part of the New Zealand rugby sevens squad.

Worcester head coach Carl Hogg said: "Extending the contract of Bryce is a huge statement of intent from the club.

"Bryce is a top performer who proved himself in the Aviva Premiership last season."
