BetBright Mobile Pendil Novices' Chase at Kempton plan for Melodic Rendezvous

Jeremy Scott has identified the BetBright Mobile Pendil Novices' Chase at Kempton on February 21 as a likely target for Melodic Rendezvous.
The nine-year-old, who won a Grade One and multiple Grade Twos over hurdles, made a successful start over fences when winning at Bangor in December.
He was ruled out of a planned outing at Plumpton earlier this month after tweaking a muscle but Scott is confident he can have his stable star back on song for the Grade Two event next month.
He told www.jeremyscottracing.net: "Melodic Rendezvous tweaked a muscle before his intended run at Plumpton which is such a shame as he needs to get more experience over fences.
"On the morning of declaration he was stiff behind so we couldn't run him.
"He's been on the quiet list but we're confident we'll get a run into him soon with the long-term aim the Pendil Novice Chase at Kempton."
